Schools enable us to improve health and livelihoods, contribute to social stability, and stimulate long-term economic growth. They are also essential to achieving each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Children who cannot imagine what they will do later often have great difficulty enjoying school. To help them stay engaged and find meaning in their school life, it is recommended to focus on the immediate benefits of school:
- create lasting bonds of friendship;
- discover new things;
- to occupy an important place in a group;
- etc.
However, for these benefits to have a real impact on children, we must find examples that directly relate to their interests.
